MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE UNITS

The 341st Missile Wing, headquartered at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, is one of three U.S. Air Force bases that maintains and operates the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile. The 341st Missile Wing reports directly to 20th Air Force, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, and is part of Air Force Global Strike Command, headquartered at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. 

The mission of the 341st Missile Wing is Airmen defending the American way of life with combat-ready ICBMs.

341st Operations Group

The 341st Operations Group provides the forces to launch, monitor and secure the wing's intercontinental ballistic missiles and missile alert facilities. These ICBMs and MAFs are dispersed over the largest missile complex in the Western Hemisphere. The group manages a variety of equipment, facilities, and vehicles worth more than $5 billion.

341st Security Forces Group

The 341st Security Forces Group defends the 341st Missile Wing's strategic combat capability from hostile threats. Their core competencies include deter, detect, deny and defeat the adversary.

 

341st Mission Support Group

The 341st Mission Support Group provides world-class support to enable the deterrent mission of the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom Air Force Base and across the wing's 13,800 square mile missile complex in north central Montana.

341st Medical Group

The 341st Medical Group strengthens combat capability by maximizing the human weapons system through life cycle management; delivered by a highly trained, well equipped, fit team of medics; administering high quality evidence-based healthcare, and partnering with our beneficiaries to improve quality of life.

341st Maintenance Group

The 341st Maintenance Group strives in its everyday duties to achieve one primary goal: To support the warfighter with the maximum number of missiles on alert.
