341st Mission Support Group

The mission of the 341st Mission Support Group is to provide world-class support to enable the warfighter mission of the 341st Missile Wing on Malmstrom Air Force Base and across the 13,800 square mile complex. The 341st Mission Support Group also prepares and deploys expeditionary combat support forces in support of operations around the world.

The Mission Support Group provides the critical war-fighting and peacetime support to the 341st Missile Wing. This includes supporting 43 units and tenants, resource protection, engineering and construction, disaster preparedness, personnel administration, communication services, recreation facilities, dining and lodging services, and worldwide contingency mobility forces.

341st Civil Engineer Squadron
The 341st Civil Engineer Squadron operates, constructs, maintains and acquires major facilities valued at $2.2 billion, and 220 missile complex site facilities valued at $1.6 billion covering 13,800 square miles.  The 341st CES manages engineering, military family housing, fire protection, Prime BEEF readiness, disaster preparedness, resources, environmental and explosive ordnance disposal missions to sustain the 341st Missile Wing and the 819th RED HORSE operations.

341st Communications Squadron
The 341st Communications Squadron plans, operates and maintains information technology resources supporting the wartime requirements of 20th Air Force, the 341st Missile Wing and tenant units.  The unit maintains reliable communications systems for Malmstrom’s Minuteman III ICBMs, Air Force Global Strike Command’s Secure Global Network (SGN), data networks, telecommunications systems, computer systems and radio/ground communications. 


341st Logistic Readiness Squadron
The 341st Logistics Readiness Squadron is responsible for supporting vehicle and transportation needs for the wing and its 13,800-square mile missile complex. The squadron consists of the Vehicle Operations Flight, Vehicle Management Flight, Transportation Management Flight, Installation Readiness Flight and the Material Management Flight which provides contractor-operated supply/fuels services to enhance Team Malmstrom’s combat readiness of personnel and equipment.  The flights also support 21 tenant units in two states, as well as the largest geographic traffic management area in the Department of Defense. They control more than $48.8 million in assets, including more than 802 vehicles and an annual operating budget in excess of $2.7 million.  Their overall mission is to maintain a high state of mobility readiness.

341st Force Support Squadron
The 341st Force Support Squadron provides Team Malmstrom essential personnel services for the more than 3,300 Airmen, more than 500 appropriated fund civilians, 150 non-appropriated fund civilians, and more than 3,200 family members stationed here. The squadron's mission is to also enhance readiness by providing worldwide combat support and community services for the wing.  It is made up of the Military Personnel Section, the Airmen and Family Readiness Center, the Force Development Flight, the Airman Leadership School, Malmstrom Honor Guard, the First Term Airmen Center, Casualty Assistance Representative, Mortuary Affairs, Family Child Care Center, Aces High Bowling and Entertainment Center, the Sports and Fitness Center, Outdoor Recreation, the Arts and Crafts Center, Elkhorn Diner, Grizzly Bend Club, Youth Programs, Child Development Center, Library and Lodging.  The squadron strives to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency of their operations by being more responsive to ever-changing customer needs.

341st Contracting Squadron
The 341st Contacting Squadron provides world-class contracting services to meet all 341st Missile Wing and tenant requirements. The squadron awards and administers contracts for supplies, services and construction, and performs administration for contracts awarded by other Department of Defense government agencies.
