On behalf of the 341st Civil Engineer Squadron and the Military Housing Office, welcome to Malmstrom Air Force Base and Montana!

Military family housing at Malmstrom is privatized, owned and operated by Malmstrom AFB Homes. They are responsible for maintaining, repairing, constructing and managing the community. The government side, MHO, works hand-in-hand with MAFB Homes and are co-located in Building 130 on Goddard Drive across from the 819th RED HORSE Squadron.

The MHO helps members understand lease agreements, explain reasons for using a military clause, and assist with resident & landlord dispute resolution (both on- and off-base). The MHO partners with landlords, realtors and property managers to help you receive the most current information about the local housing market. The Base Legal Office is also available to assist with counseling and reviewing leases as needed.
If you received orders to Malmstrom, just arrived, or if you have been stationed here a while, come by the MHO and see our Military Housing Assistants to complete an Application for Housing or you can apply by using our Housing Documents/Referral & Application Forms. The application must be completed and signed by the ranking military member. Once signed, returned back to us via email.

As with any assignment comes challenges, Malmstrom is no exception! Please plan ahead prior to arriving to Malmstrom to ensure your family has a place to reside temporarily while waiting for on-base housing.
