Air Force Global Strike Sentinel Detachment 11 AFGSC Detachment 11 is commonly known as the “Sentinel Task Force” at Malmstrom. It’s mission is to provide a continuously viable, secure, and effective land-based nuclear deterrent. It will liaison with mission partners to coordinate the retirement of Minuteman III and Sentinel deployment activities at Malmstrom AFB until Sentinel is fully operational and MMIII is fully retired.
