Malmstrom K-9’s retire after nearly 10 years of service

Julie Roloson, 341st Security Forces Squadron commander, and Senior Airman Tyler Burk, 341st SFS military working dog handler, hold MWD Kay’s certificate of retirement at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, Aug. 3, 2023. MWD Kay’s retirement ceremony honored his 7 years of service, in which he safeguarded Malmstrom’s 3,700 acres with 4 billion dollars in Air Force assets by searching a grand total of 1,062 hours.
