Emergency Management, FBI show and tell event
Tech. Sgt. Darryl Adams, 341st Bioenvironmental Engineering Squadron NCO in-charge, scans an ammo can for radiation during a joint-training event March 8, 2022, at the emergency management warehouse on Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. Adams is using a SAM-940 radiation device, which quantifies and identifies radioactive isotopes. Outside agencies, such as the FBI, rely on bioenvironmental personnel to detect dangerous chemicals on and around the installation during emergency situations.
