A nuclear advanced designated marksman from the 341st Security Support Squadron Tactical Response Force assists in a launch facility recapture exercise from a distance in support of Global Thunder 19, Oct. 30, 2018, at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. Global Thunder involves extensive planning and coordination and provides unique training opportunities and assessments for all U.S. Strategic Command mission areas and joint and field training operational readiness, with a specific focus on nuclear readiness.
