Montana’s ghost towns: Marysville
A rusty sign hangs from one of the three main buildings located in Marysville, Mont. This once booming gold mining town was built and established around the Drumlummon Mine in 1876, by founder Thomas Cruse and was once one of the richest mining towns of its era. The Marysville mining district produced about $50 million in gold during its heyday. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Chad Thompson)
