Montana’s ghost towns: Marysville

The Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church was built 1886 and is located in Marysville, Mont. This once booming gold mining town was built and established around the Drumlummon Mine in 1876, by founder Thomas Cruse and was once one of the richest mining towns of its era. The Marysville mining district produced about $50 million in gold during its heyday. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Chad Thompson)
