Search & Rescue

Capt. Mitchell Parrish, 341st Medical Operations Squadron flight surgeon, gets a lift from a UH-1N Huey helicopter from the 40th Helicopter Squadron. Captain Parrish is hoisted up 120 feet sitting on a “force penetrator” while participating in a search and rescue exercise in May 2008. At Malmstrom, flight surgeons and flight nurses are required to accomplish one day and one night hoist per calendar year for training. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. David Oettel)
