Fire truck christen
Members of Malmstrom’s fire department pose in front of their new P-19 Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting truck named Clifford, following a christening ceremony April 5. This vehicle can carry 1,000 gallons of water and 110 gallons of firefighting foam; this doubles Malmstrom capacity from a current capacity of 500 gallons of water and 50 gallons of foam. This particular model of the P-19 AARF can be used for aircraft or building fires, and Malmstrom’s fire department plans to use it this summer to assist with putting out wild fires.
