MALSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. -- Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory runs a standardized shop, which makes it easier to go to distant locations and use the same standards under the National Institute of Technology. The average week of work orders vary, but the PMEL works about 300 unit's pieces a month and more than 400 requests every six months. The PMEL shop supports the 341st Missile Wing, 19th RED HORSE, and provides lateral support to local bases.
