CARLSBAD, Calif. --
"Hire A Hero" offers 122 academic scholarships to active and transitioning military personnel, veterans, national guard members, reservists and their spouses. The scholarship is now available to family members of military personnel and veterans.
Lincoln Educational Services Corporation, the title sponsor of the "Hire A Hero," is providing the training in an effort to give back to those who have served. Degree and diploma programs are available in automotive technology, health sciences, skilled trades, business, information technology and hospitality services.
"When announcing our 'Hire A Hero' scholarship opportunities to the public, we received a large amount of interest from family members of military personnel and veterans," said Dan Caulfield, "Hire A Hero" executive director. "Because of that interest, we have decided to open up the scholarship opportunities to them. Like those who have served, they too have sacrificed and deserve the opportunity to gain scholarships to help pay for their higher education studies."
