Reminder to attend mandatory enlisted call
There are three mandatory enlisted calls remaining for those who did not attend this week. The enlisted call will be held at the Grizzly Bend club at the date and time indicated below:
Tuesday at 9 a.m. for all airmen basics through senior airmen.
Thursday at 10 a.m. for all staff and technical sergeants.
Sept. 10 at 3:30 p.m. for all senior non-commissioned officers.

Child Development Center to host 'Discovers' program
The CDC is hosting an enrichment program for 3- to 5-year-olds beginning Tuesday. The program runs through May and includes activities such as story time, art and mathematics, gym and drama. Dispose of unwanted e-waste
The City of Great Falls in partnership with Benefis Healthcare, the Great Falls Clinic, the College of Technology, Great Falls Public Schools, the Montana Department of Environmental Quality and Malmstrom Air Force Base will offer discounted recycling of old televisions, computers and other electronic equipment Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event takes place at the Great Falls College of Technology, 2100 16th Ave. S. and is open to residents only. Businesses with electronic recycling are asked to schedule an appointment for pick up by calling 861-4921. For more information, call 771-1401.
Club closure announced
The Grizzly Bend Club will be closed Sept. 14 to support the annual Salute to the Community Dinner.
Tickets still on sale for AF Ball
The Air Force Ball will be held Sept. 15 starting at 5 p.m. in the 3-Bay Hangar. Tickets are still available and the cost is $11 per person for airman through senior airmen; $18 per person for staff and technical sergeants and civil servants ranked GS-9 and below; $20 per person for master sergeants and above as well as civil servants GS-10 and above. There is a $2 per person additional charge for non-club members.

Formal dresses available for AF Ball
A "dress shop" has been established in building 500, room 151D for anyone wanting to donate a formal gown or pick up a donation to be worn at the Air Force Ball Sept. 15. The "dress shop" is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
Last splash at Electric City Waterpark
This is the final weekend for the Electric City Waterpark, which will be open Saturday to Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Waterpark includes Mitchell Pool, the wading pool and interactive play structure, the power tower plunge and the flow rider.
The Natatorium pool is closed Saturday through Monday but will resume its normal hours of operation starting Tuesday. For more information, call 771-1265.
Waterfowl clinic for kids planned
There will be a youth waterfowl clinic at Benton Lake National Wildlife Refuge Sept. 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The clinic will give youth ages 12 to 15 a chance to learn the skills needed to be successful waterfowl hunters. Topics include hunting safety, ethics and traditions, refuge regulations, waterfowl identification, decoy placement, duck calling, shotgun patterning and target shooting as well as distance estimating and dog handling.
