Brazilian Jiujitsu (BJJ for short) is a martial art focused in grappling, that emphasizes chokes and joint locks in order to reach a submission. It is one of the foundational arts for MMA. BJJ is a great martial art for self-defense as it really does allow the smaller and weaker person to beat the larger and stronger person through the use of leverage, technique and timing. It's a great sport as well. Competitions are offered all over the world and are offered at every experience level, age, and weight class.

The purpose is this mini club is to share joy in photography no matter what skill level you are at. Don’t have a camera? That’s okay, phone cameras are great too! There will be a monthly focus and “assignments”. Skilled photographers can help the beginner photographers. If you can’t attend the meetings you can still be a part of the club and post your photos along with everyone else. I will post each assignment and email out the educational papers monthly. We may even go on a few photo walks.
