Malmstrom honors 23 years since September 11, 2001
Airman 1st Class Cole Zenthofer, 341st Civil Engineer firefighter, tolls a ceremonial bell during a ceremony honoring September 11, 2001, at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., Sept. 11, 2024. Before electronic sirens were used, bells were the method of letting standby firefighters know there was an emergency.
