Fond farewell to Alpha MAF
Col. Sandy Finan, 341st Space Wing commander, displays her 341st Space Wing scarf after nailing it to a post across from Alpha-01 missile alert facility May 19. It is a tradition amongst the members of the 10th MS assigned to Alpha-01 to attach scarves, uniforms and other personal effects to the pole upon the completion of their final alert. The commander now has two scarves affixed to the 10th Missile Squadron landmark, as she was once a missileer assigned to the 10th MS, and manned her last alert June 24, 1991.
