MAAS training
One of two barriers required for a Mobile Aircraft Arresting System, or MAAS, is shown here while crews work to install aluminum stake lines. The unit requires 19 stake lines to secure it. Members from the 219th RED HORSE Squadron, 341st Civil Engineer Squadron and one member from the 120th Fighter Wing came together to train on this equipment, which is part of the 819th RED HORSE Squadron's asset inventory.
