Full Honors
Pall bearers bring the flag to the table-top position during a funeral demonstration June 24 at Medal of Honor Park. Following the commital service, the NCO in charge of the funeral detail and the colors team will present arms while the bearers stand fast. After the colors team moves to the position of present arms, the firing party fires three vollies then the buglar plays "Taps." When "Taps" is complete, the NCO in charge orders his salute and the pall bearers then fold the flag. Once the flag is folded, it is passed to the NCO in charge, who gives the flag to the next of kin. (U.S. Air Force photo/Beau Wade)
