Snowbirds honor one of their fallen
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds aerial demonstration team performs a fly-by in honor of their lost teammate, Capt. Shawn McCaughey, Snowbirds 2 pilot, at their end-of-season show in front of special guests, family and friends Oct. 12 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The Snowbirds wanted to thank Malmstrom for their efforts in May after Captain McCaughey died during a practice flight on Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., and invited 11 Airmen up for their final show of the year.
