Zsabi root canal
Capt. Clay Jensen, 341st Medical Operations Squadron dentist, performs a root canal on Zsabi, a 2 year-old black male German shepherd, with help from his assistant, dental technician Val Kraenzel. Military working dog Zsabi was in Salt Lake City receiving a routine dental exam when doctors caught a problem in his tooth. Without proper equipment to perform the root canal, Zsabi was sent back home, where he is a member of the 341st Security Forces Squadron K-9 unit, to receive the procedure in the dental clinic here. An Army veterinarian and veterinary technician were also on hand to perform the anesthesia requirements. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman Cortney Hansen)
