Volunteer of the Month
Featured as this month’s Big Brothers, Big Sisters ‘Volunteer of the Month’ is Senior Airman Travis Lark, 16th Munitions Squadron nuclear weapons specialist, pictured above with his little, Izahik, 12. Lark has been exposed to the BBBS program since he was younger and decided to become involved once he came to Malmstrom. He and Izahik usually spend 15-20 hours a month together; their favorite activity being 18 Air Soft. Lark volunteers his time with Izahik mainly to “enjoy being that positive role model for someone who doesn't necessarily have that." "It's a good feeling to be able to give someone advice and be that person to turn to,” Lark said.
