MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. --  Air Force Global Strike Command recently released the winners of several 2013 command-level awards. Malmstrom Air Force Base took home awards in various AFGSC award competitions, and the winners will be sent on to represent AFGSC at the Air Force-level competition. The following are the award winners in each competition.

Air Force Civil Engineer Fire and Emergency Services Annual Awards
· Air Force Military Firefighter of the Year Award - Staff Sgt. Michael Mullis

Air Force Medical Service Annual Awards
· Air Force Medical Service Senior NCO Leadership Award - Master Sgt. Lynette Nettleton

Air Force Public Affairs Media Contest

- FIRST PLACE INDIVIDUAL AWARDS:
· Senior Airman Katrina Heikkinen - News Article, Portrait/Personality Photograph and Military Print Journalist of the Year
· Senior Airman Cortney Paxton - Commentary and Series Articles
· Airman 1st Class Collin Schmidt - Outstanding New Writer
· Robert Stillwell - Graphic Illustration, Graphics Layout and Design and Graphic Artist of the Year
· Beaumont Wade - TV Sports Report, TV Newsbreak and Video Field Production

Also, Chaplain (Capt.) Rob Mohr and Tech. Sgt. Shane Rushforth won the AFGSC Religious Support Team for the 4th quarter of FY13.
