SAF/FM visits Malmstrom

Dr. Jamie Morin, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for financial management and comptroller, and Chief Master Sgt. John Writer, SAF/FM executive for enlisted matters, visited Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, June 23 and 24 to see key base infrastructure, Force Improvement Program initiatives and future funding requirements.

During his visit, Morin and his team received briefings on the 341st Missile Wing's mission, met with 341st Comptroller Squadron personnel and toured facilities.

To see key base infrastructure, Force Improvement Program initiatives and future funding requirements, Morin and his team visited the 3-Bay Hangar, Fitness Center and Vehicle Operations. He also toured the 40th Helicopter Squadron, followed by a helicopter ride to a missile alert facility.

Morin and Writer also met CPTS personnel and took any questions they had over breakfast.

To conclude his tour, Morin and his team visited the weapons storage area to understand the mission and how FIP initiatives are being implemented.
