The 2014 Air Force Ball will be held Sept. 13 at the Grizzly Bend. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. The evening will include dinner, a live band and dancing.

"The Air Force Ball is a great way for both senior leaders and junior Airmen to get together to pay homage to America's sons and daughters who gave their lives as well the 341st Missile Wing's heritage and contributions to the defense of this great nation," said Master Sgt. Jim Ulrich, AF Ball committee member.

This year's theme is "Land of the Free, Because of the Brave." The dress code for the event includes mess dress or semi-formal uniform for military members and formal attire for civilians.

"A lot of men and women sacrifice their lives to make our country what it is. The theme of this year's ball is to honor those who have sacrificed everything in our more recent conflicts," said Ulrich.

Tickets for the ball can be purchased through squadron points of contact. Tickets for airman basic through senior airman cost $8 for club members and $10 for non-club members. Tickets for staff sergeant and above, and civilians, cost $18 for club members and $20 for non-club members.
