Attendance to one of the dates is mandatory and a sign up sheet will be recorded. The dates and times for the enlisted call is as follows: - Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. and Sept. 4 at 9 a.m. for all airmen basic to senior airmen; - Aug. 29 and Sept. 10 at 3:30 p.m. for all senior noncommissioned officers; and - Aug. 30 and Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. for all staff and technical sergeants. Free marriage seminar Free marriage enrichment seminars will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday at the Heritage Inn on Fox Farm Road. Recycling opportunity at Great Falls College of Technology 'E-rase your E-waste!' is coming to Great Falls from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Great Falls College of Technology at 2100 16th Avenue South. This special event provides a great opportunity for Great Falls residents to recycle old televisions, computers and other electronic equipment at reduced prices. The City of Great Falls is partnering with Benefis Healthcare, Great Falls Clinic, College of Technology, Great Falls Public Schools, Malmstrom and the Montana Department of Environmental Quality to offer discounted recycling fees during this special event. The event is for residents only, but businesses are encouraged to recycle their electronics by scheduling appointments for pick-up the week prior to the event. Businesses can contact Tatooine Electronics, Inc. at 861-4921 to arrange electronics recycling or call 771-1401 for more information. The City of Great Falls is offering this electronics collection event to give residents and businesses an opportunity to recycle electronics and keep these bulky, and sometimes hazardous-waste containing items, out of the landfill. Register now for 2007 fall volleyball League registration for the 2007 fall volleyball has begun and will continue through Sept. 6. Teams are registered on a first come, first served basis. Team managers can register at the Park and Recreation office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Registration fees are as follows: Power League, $130 per team and Recreational League, $60 per team. League is scheduled to begin Sept. 11. Payment is due at time of registration. USAA entitlement problem encountered Financial services across the military have encountered a problem with entitlement systems going into USAA accounts. The account number resident in the entitlement systems number for USAA is 314074269 but the account number, 3074267, is incorrect. This number is actually the company code and is not an individual account. It has not yet been determined how the number is being created in the system. Members must be vigilant in policing their accounts. All members who have money being sent to USAA with the routing number 314074269, must check to see what account number is being used. If the number 3074267 appears in their records, member must change this to their individual checking or savings account number. 2008 NCORP seeks to fill 900 positions The 2008 Noncommissioned Officer Retraining Program has begun as the Air Force seeks to fill approximately 900 shortage career field and special duty positions. NCOs notified of their vulnerability to retrain must submit their shortage career field choices they would most like to retrain into or apply for a special duty assignment no later than Sept. 21. Vulnerability listings by grade and Air Force Specialty Code are posted on the virtual MPF at http://ask.afpc.randolph.af.mil. By clicking grade or projected grade, NCOs may view their ranking on the vulnerability list and apply for retraining through the vMPF as needed. Command support staff personnel will manage the retraining program and notify members if they are eligible. Additionally, they will suggest special duty identifiers such as recruiting, postal duty, military training instructor or professional military education instructor. If voluntary measures are unsuccessful, the Air Staff will implement Phase II, involuntary retraining. In Phase II, individuals identified as vulnerable in AFSCs not meeting retraining-out objectives, and without approved retraining or assignment to a special duty identifier by Sept. 21, will be involuntarily retrained. Extreme heat calls for constant watering Due to extreme heat the Park and Recreation Department will be watering parks 24 hours a day to keep up with the dry conditions we have been experiencing.
