Military Justice Report for December 2007

The following individuals received non-judicial punishment during December 2007:

- A senior airman from the 341st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman first class and 30 days extra duty for viewing pornography on a government computer.

- An airman first class from the 341st MSFS received a reduction to the rank of airman, restriction to base for 30 days and 30 days extra duty for underage drinking, speeding and driving while drunk.

- An airman first class from the 341st MSFS received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman and 30 days extra duty for bouncing multiple checks.

- An airman first class from the 741st Missile Security Force Squadron received a reduction to the rank of airman basic, a suspended forfeiture of $650 pay per month for two months and a reprimand for violating a no-contact order, making a false official statement to a security forces investigator, assaulting another Airman and unlawfully entering another Airman's government quarters.

- An airman from the 341st Missile Maintenance Squadron received a reduction to the rank of airman basic, restriction to base for 30 days and 30 days extra duty for underage drinking, failing to have proof of insurance or drivers license in immediate possession, driving without headlights and driving while drunk.

- An airman first class from the 341st Logistics Readiness Squadron received a reduction to the rank of airman, a forfeiture of $729 pay and restriction to base for 30 days for intentionally failing to properly answer career development course self-test questions.

- A staff sergeant from the 341st Logistics Readiness Squadron received a suspended reduction to the rank of senior airman, a forfeiture of $1,031 pay per month for two months and 15 days extra duty for failing to maintain vehicle insurance, speeding and driving while drunk.

- An airman first class from the 741st MSFS received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman, a forfeiture of $200 pay, restriction to base for 60 days and a reprimand for failing to go and willfully failing the career development course end-of-course exam.

- An airman basic from the 741st MSFS received a restriction to base for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand for failing to go.

- An senior airman from the 341st Maintenance Operation Squadron received a reduction to the rank of airman first class, a forfeiture of $500 pay per month for two months, that portion of forfeitures in excess of $150 pay per month for two months was suspended, and 30 days extra duty for failing to maintain current vehicle insurance and registration and driving while drunk.

NOTE: Punishments may vary from Airman to Airman. When deciding on an appropriate level of punishment, commanders take into consideration the member's oral and written presentation, the member's duty performance and past history of misconduct, the need for good order and discipline, and the nature and circumstances of the offenses.
