Air Show vendor meeting Wednesday
There will be a meeting March 26 at 1 p.m. in the Youth Center ballroom for groups interested in applying for concession space at the upcoming air show and open house May 17 and 18. Only base-affiliated groups such as private organizations, special interest groups are eligible to apply. Call Kathy Desy at 731-3994 or Rachel Kofoed at 731-6366 with questions.

Blood drive is Tuesday
The next Red Cross blood drive is March 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the lower gym at the Sports and Fitness Center. Call the Red Cross at 727-2212 to sign up or register online at www.givelife.org. The sponsor code is airforce.

Small business workshop coming
The Airman and Family Readiness Center along with the Small Business Administration will conduct a workshop March 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in building 1192. Seating is limited so early registration is encouraged. Call 731-4900 to sign up.

Bowling event to support EDO
The Malmstrom 1st Sergeants are hosting a bowling tournament March 28 starting at 1 p.m. at Ace's High Bowling Center. Five-person teams are needed and the cost is $100 per team which includes three games and shoes. Proceeds will go towards the Enlisted Dining Out. Trophies will be awarded for high score for each game as well as a team trophy for the overall cumulative team high score. Teams interested in participating should contact Master Sgt. Eugene Miller at 731-7851 or 231-2993.

MSC to hold elections
The Malmstrom Spouse's Club will conduct their elections at the April Social meeting. Applications for nominations for all positions on the Board of Governors are being accepted through March 31. The positions are open to all spouses of active-duty military members stationed here or abroad, enlisted and officer. MSC scholarship applications being accepted
The Malmstrom Spouse's Club is now accepting applications for FY08 scholarships. High school seniors can pick up an application from their guidance counselor and military spouses can pick one up from the Education Center on base or the college they are attending's financial aid office. Applicants must be family members of active-duty or retired military personnel. Applications need to be turned in by March 31.

Pet items being collected
Cub Scout Pack 43 and Boy Scout Troop 43, along with Loy Leadership Team, will be collecting et items for the non-profit organization PetPaw-See. Items needed are cat and dog food, both canned and dry, cat litter, treats, toys, old towels and blankets or any other items people would like to donate. Drop boxes for donated items will be located at the Commissary, Building 470, Building 500, Building 160 and at Loy Elementary School April 1 to 25. Donations needed for Guardian Challenge auction
An auction to raise funds to support the 2008 Guardian Challenge team is scheduled for April 5 at the Grizzly Bend Club. In order to maximize the fund-raising potential of this event, organizers are asking for donations for the live and silent auctions. Items can be brought to the 564th Missile Squadron office located on the third floor of building 500 or arrangements can be made for the items to be picked up by calling Capt. Aaron Basham at 731-6800 or 1st Lt. Sarah Ford at 731-7181. Please make donation by March 29 to allow time for an auction catalog to be compiled. Help support Team Malmstrom's bid to defend the Blanchard Trophy.
