Area Defense Counsel unavailable
The Area Defense Counsel personnel, locally and at other installations, will not be available the week of April 6 to 11. In the event of an emergency, contact the command post at 731-3801. The ADC personnel will return April 17 at 7:30 a.m.

Mandatory enlisted calls announced
The following is the schedule for the mandatory enlisted calls in April:
Airman Call: April 16 at 8:30 a.m., base auditorium, for those who did not attend April 1. NCO Calls: April 7 and 14 at 3 p.m., Grizzly Bend Club. Plan to attend one or the other.
SNCO Call: April 9 at 3 p.m., Grizzly Bend Club.

Wing It theater auditions being held
The Wing It theater group will be holding auditions for a production featuring music and dance of the 1950s and 1960s April 16 at 6 p.m., April 17 and 18th at 5 p.m. all at the base theater. The production is slated for June. Performers can come prepared with their choice of a song or dance number. No experience is necessary. Anyone interested in helping out behind the scenes with lighting, costumes, make up, decorations, advertising or being an extra is also asked to attend. MSC hosting membership appreciation event
The Malmstrom Spouses' Club will hold their annual membership appreciation bingo night at 6:30 p.m. April 17 at the Grizzly Bend Club. Heavy appetizers, dessert and coffee will be served and the cost is $8 per person. To receive an extra bingo card, bring two cans of food or donate $2. Donations will be given to the Great Falls Food Bank. This event is for members only. RSVP to Helen Schollars at 866-0245 or by e-mail at tschollars@bresnan.net by April 16.

Open Mic poetry night coming to Detour
The next Open Mic poetry night will be at 7:30 p.m. April 18 at the Detour. The theme is "something on the grill" and free food will be provided at the event. For more information, contact Airman 1st Class Audrey Hopgood at 731-7140.

Pet items being collected
Cub Scout Pack 43 and Boy Scout Troop 43, along with Loy Leadership Team, will be collecting et items for the non-profit organization PetPaw-See. Items needed are cat and dog food, both canned and dry, cat litter, treats, toys, old towels and blankets or any other items people would like to donate. Drop boxes for donated items will be located at the Commissary, Building 470, Building 500, Building 160 and at Loy Elementary School April 1 to 25. Scale closing at TMO
The truck scale at the traffic management office will be closed from April 1 through Aug. 29 due to a major construction project. All members doing a personal procured move (DITY) will need to weight their household goods at an alternate certified scale, which are located at the addresses below. Birthday kit donations needed
The Holy Spirit Girl Scout troop is conducting a community service project to benefit the Children's Receiving Home. They are putting together birthday kits and seek donations of the following items:
DVDs (G and PG only) Stuffed Animals Coloring book/crayons/markers
Toy trucks/race cars/hot wheels Baseballs/bats Basketballs/footballs
Frisbees Books Board games
Barbies Littlest Pet Shops animals Dress-up clothes

The group is also seeking donations of cake, frosting, sprinkles, candles, balloons, plates and forks. Items can be dropped off at the Holy Spirit School, 2820 Central Avenue or at the Holy Spirit Church, 44th Street So. through April 30.
