Reservation deadline nearing for retiree weekend events

MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. --  Retiree appreciation weekend is April 25 to 27 at Malmstrom, starting with a retreat ceremony at 4 p.m. April 25 at Medal of Honor Park. A no-host social hour follows at the Grizzly Bend Club.

The following day is full of activities, some which require payment and reservations in advance. There is a breakfast brunch buffet planned for 10:30 a.m. April 26 and the cost is $12 per person. Later that evening, starting at 5:30 p.m., is a dinner buffet featuring stuffed chicken and carved prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes, steamed rice, carrots, salad, dessert, ice tea, water and coffee. The cost is $23 per person. The guest speaker for at the dinner is retired Maj. Gen. Richard Marr.

Payment will be accepted via personal check or club card. Checks should be made out to "Retiree Activities"Reservation forms were sent to all retirees in a postcard format the last week of March and can also be downloaded from the Web site, www.malmstrom.af.mil. Click on the link to the retiree activities office, then the link to the retirees weekend newsletter. The reservation form is the very last page and they need to be received by April 16.
