Get help preparing for college
College 101 and Online Tuition Assistance classes are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Learn what you need to know to achieve higher education. Topics covered include choosing the right school, types of degrees, CLEP/DANTES exams, Community College of the Air Force degree, paying for college, how to apply for TA online through the Air Force Portal and more. This class is required for anyone using TA for the first time. No appointment is necessary. For more information, call 731-3531.

Summer hours implemented at Thrift Store
The Thrift and Consignment Store started summer hours. The store will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays only through June. The store will be closed in July. For more information, call 731-3213.

Donate blood
The next American Red Cross blood drive at Malmstrom is June 17 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the lower gym of the Fitness Center. Briefing for Airmen coming June 17
The Air Force Right/Informed Decision briefing is held every third Tuesday of the month from 8 a.m. to noon at the Education Center. The next briefing is June 17. This briefing is intended for all first and second term Airmen within 15 months of separation. The briefing covers Air Force benefits along with options on what is available to Airmen. AFSA to meet
The Air Force Sergeants Association will hold a general membership meeting starting at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Grizzly Bend Club. All active-duty and retirees are welcome to attend. For more information, call Master Sgt. Tim Hezel at 731-4766.

Volunteers needed for Relay for Life
Volunteers are needed to help set up and tear down for the upcoming Relay for Life, a fundraising event to fight cancer. Set up begins at 1 p.m. June 27 and tear down starts at 8 a.m. June 28. For more information or to volunteer, call Tech. Sgt. Jason Berger at 731-4055.

Combat dining out
The 341st Security Forces Group will be holding their annual combat dining out July 17 at the 3-Bay Hangar. Guest speaker is Brig. Gen. Mary Kay Hertog. Social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $14 per person and tickets need to be purchased by July 4. Dress for all participants is ABUs/BDUs/DCUs. RED HORSE Association looking for new members
The RED HORSE Association, established in 2001, is a national tax-exempt professional military association representing the interests of more than 800 past and current Air Force combat civil engineers, Prime BEEF and RED HORSE members of all ranks from active duty, Reserve and National Guard units.
