The 341st Logistics Readiness Squadron change of command ceremony is July 2 at 9 a.m. at Medal of Honor Park. ASIST training coming in July Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training will he held July 1-2 and 24-25 at the chapel from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This training is an opportunity for mid-level supervisors to enhance their knowledge and ability to help others in crisis. Anyone interested in taking this free training should sign up with their first sergeant or call the chapel at 731-3721. Golf tournament to offset cost of Air Force ball The Air Force Ball Association is hosting a golf tournament July 25 starting at 9 a.m. at the Zahara Golf Course. Cost is $50 per person/$200 per team which includes 18 holes of golf and an automatic entry to win a Nike driver valued at $300. A first place trophy will be presented and additional raffle tickets for the driver will be sold the day of the tournament. Combat dining out The 341st Security Forces Group will be holding their annual combat dining out July 17 at the 3-Bay Hangar. Guest speaker is Brig. Gen. Mary Kay Hertog. Social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $14 per person and tickets need to be purchased by July 4. Dress for all participants is ABUs/BDUs/DCUs. Volunteers need to help with relocation The Great Falls Genealogy Library, a non-profit organization open to the public, will be moving from its current location, 422 2nd St. S. to the Great Falls Public Library at 301 2nd Ave. N., July 11 and 12. Five to six volunteers are needed to help move boxes of books, arrange furniture in the new location and unpack and stack books. A lot of lifting will be involved. Get help preparing for college College 101 and Online Tuition Assistance classes are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Learn what you need to know to achieve higher education. Topics covered include choosing the right school, types of degrees, CLEP/DANTES exams, Community College of the Air Force degree, paying for college, how to apply for TA online through the Air Force Portal and more.
