ASK customer service

The Customer Support section of the Military Personnel Element recently unveiled an innovative customer service program, the Assisted Service Kiosk. 

"We wanted to provide a hands-on option for our customers," said Tech. Sgt. Dustin Barnes, NCOIC of the Customer Support Section. "With the emergence of so many virtual applications, it's still important that the customers have the human expertise behind the programs. The ASK is just that." 

The theory behind ASK is that customers can visit the Customer Support section of the MPE and log on to any virtual program using one of the two ASK terminals. In the event they need assistance, Customer Support technicians can either help the member complete the task or retrieve the subject matter experts from within the MPE. 

"Hopefully, we can lessen much of the recent frustration that Air Force members have had with virtual programs," Sergeant Barnes said. 

The ASK is located in building 1191, room 102. Any questions can be directed to 2nd Lt. Danielle Hummert at 731-2276 or Sergeant Barnes at 731-4674.
