Base guides have arrived
The newest version of the Malmstrom base guide and phone book is available at the Public Affairs Office, building 500, room 150B. Base organizations are welcome to stop by and pick up enough books for their immediate areas. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Wing-It Theater holding improv night
The Wing-It Theater group will be hosting its third annual "Night at the Improv" Aug. 15 starting at 7 p.m. at the Grizzly Bend Club. This free event will be performed similar to the television show "Whose Line is it Anyway," platform. For more information, contact Senior Airman Sarah Burrill at 799-0505.

Financial workshop offered
There will be a financial workshop, entitled "Marriage and Money," offered Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Airman and Family Readiness Center. The workshop will focus on the information necessary to promote positive financial health for couples. Call 731-4900 to register or for more information.

Triathlon planned
The Fitness and Sports Center will be hosting a triathlon Aug. 23 starting at 8 a.m. There are three competition categories: men, women and youth. Adult events include a 500 yard swim, 12 mile bike ride and a 3 mile run. The beginners and youth events include a 50 yard swim, 3 mile bike ride and a 1 mile run. Registration will start at the base picnic Aug. 15 and ends Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. All entrants will receive a T-shirt and water bottle. There will be a post race party at Sun Plaza Park with a free barbecue, live DJ and a jump castle for the children. For more information or to register, call 731-3621.

Car club holding event
The Sports Car Club of America will hold an autocross solo event at Malmstrom Aug. 24. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the cost is $35 for non-members. For more information, log on to www.mtscca.com.
