This alcohol-free event will feature cardboard boat races, inner tube water polo and free food. See your first sergeant for more information. Commissary open normal hours Labor Day weekend The commissary will be open regular hours, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with early bird shopping from 7 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Classes offered at A&FRC The Airman and Family Readiness Center will hold a resume preparation class Sept. 2. and a "Tough Interview Questions and Salary Negotiations" class Sept. 5. Both will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and bringing a sack lunch is permitted. Call 731-4900 to sign up. Pack 43 looking for Cub Scouts Cub Scout Pack 43 at Malmstrom is looking for Scouts. Boys in first through fifth grade are eligible to participate. Cub Scouting helps boys learn family and community relationships and teaches self-reliance, dependability and teamwork. Change of command announced The 341st Missile Maintenance Squadron will hold a change of command ceremony Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. in the 3-Bay Hangar. Lt. Col. John Fisch will relinquish command to Lt. Col. James Porter. 5K run to support AF Ball There will be a 5K run Sept. 5 starting at 7:30 a.m. to help support the Air Force Ball. Cost is $5 per person to participate and awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers. The run starts and ends at the base exchange. Call Capt. Marriage retreat planned There will be a Christian marriage retreat at Double Arrow Resort, Seely Lake, Mont., Sept. 12 to 14. Cost is $75 per family and includes cabin lodging for two nights, breakfast both days and transportation if you choose to ride in the chapel van. Also included is use of the resort swimming pool and hiking. Horseback riding, boating, fishing and golf are also available at participants own cost. You will need to take car of your own other meals. Space is limited so call 731-3721 for reservations. Payment is expected at the time of reservation. Legal assistance has resumed Legal assistance is again available during regular hours, Monday through Thursday from 8 to 9 a.m. For those unable to visit during these hours, call to schedule an appointment at 731-2878. Transition assistance workshop offered There will be a Veterans Affairs disability and vocational rehabilitation workshop at the Airman and Family Readiness Center Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon. This is recommended for anyone who is going through a medical evaluation board or filing a VA disability claim upon separating or retiring. Seating is limited to 20 people. Requirements for new ID cards New ID cards are now being issued at Malmstrom, however, the software program used to issue the new cards requires customers to present two forms of identification in order to receive a new ID. The primary form must be a photo ID. The secondary form can be anything that is federal or government issued, such as a certified copy of a birth certificate, a Social Security card or a voter's registration card.
