Transition assistance workshop offered There will be a Veterans Affairs disability and vocational rehabilitation workshop at the Airman and Family Readiness Center Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon. This is recommended for anyone who is going through a medical evaluation board or filing a VA disability claim upon separating or retiring. Seating is limited to 20 people. Requirements for new ID cards New ID cards are now being issued at Malmstrom, however, the software program used to issue the new cards requires customers to present two forms of identification in order to receive a new ID. The primary form must be a photo ID. The secondary form can be anything that is federal or government issued, such as a certified copy of a birth certificate, a Social Security card or a voter's registration card. TDY per-mile rate increased General Service Administration officials raised the temporary-duty mileage rate to $0.585. The $0.08 increase applies to all personnel traveling on official business by privately owned vehicle and went into effect Aug. 1.
