Malmstrom Spouses' Club holding social dice game
The Malmstrom Spouses' Club will hold a Bunco Night at the Aces High Bowling Center Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m. Bunco is a game of chance played with dice. The cost for spouses' club members is $5 and covers pizza, soda and prizes. For more information or to RSVP, call Darcy Caves at 952-0826.

Case lot sale planned at commissary
There will be a case lot sale Sept. 18 to 20 at the Malmstrom commissary. Hours of operation for the sale are: Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit www.commissaries.com.

Air Force Ball Tickets on sale now
The Air Force Ball is Sept. 20 in the 3-Bay Hangar. Social hour starts at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Dinner menu includes bacon-wrapped applewood sirloin, bacon-wrapped Applewood chicken and Applewood salmon. The event will include a performance by The Noteables Jazz Ensemble from the Heartland of America Band.

Marriage and parenting class to be held at Base Chapel Annex

341st LRS offers free privately-owned vehicle inspections

Pack 43 looking for Cub Scouts
Cub Scout Pack 43 at Malmstrom is looking for Scouts. Boys in first through fifth grade are eligible to participate. Transition assistance workshop offered
There will be a Veterans Affairs disability and vocational rehabilitation workshop at the Airman and Family Readiness Center Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon. This is recommended for anyone who is going through a medical evaluation board or filing a VA disability claim upon separating or retiring. Seating is limited to 20 people. Requirements for new ID cards
New ID cards are now being issued at Malmstrom, however, the software program used to issue the new cards requires customers to present two forms of identification in order to receive a new ID. The primary form must be a photo ID. The secondary form can be anything that is federal or government issued, such as a certified copy of a birth certificate, a Social Security card or a voter's registration card. Call 731-4155 with any questions.

TDY per-mile rate increased
General Service Administration officials raised the temporary-duty mileage rate to $0.585. The $0.08 increase applies to all personnel traveling on official business by privately owned vehicle and went into effect Aug. 1.
