The "Noteables" Jazz Ensemble, a 13-member musical group that represents the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band, will perform a free, 90- minute concert Sept. 14 in the Mansfield Theater at the Great Falls Civic Center starting at 3 p.m.

Sponsored by 1st Liberty Federal Credit Union, the concert will feature a wide variety of music including jazz standards, big band favorites, vocal selections, patriotic music and a salute to veterans.

"Anytime we can help sponsor such an enjoyable event and bring it to the Great Falls community to share is what we delight in doing," said Steve Grooms, President and CEO of 1st Liberty FCU. "We are very pleased to help highlight the talent of our military men and women."

The group is comprised of three saxophonists, two trumpeters, two trombonists, a piano player, guitarist, bassist, drumsetter, vocalist and audio engineer.

"This is a way for us to put a public 'face' on the Air Force before the citizens of our great country," said Master Sgt. Cully Joyce, NCOIC of the Noteables. "This is our opportunity to pay you , and our country, back through music while showcasing to everyone what their Air Force is doing and what professionalism is displayed daily in the men and women of our Armed Forces."

Even though the concert is free, tickets are still required and can be obtained at any of the six 1st Liberty FCUs listed below. Non-ticket holders will be admitted on a space-available basis 15 minutes prior to the start of the show if seats are open.
