Have you experienced difficulty making a medical appointment recently?

You may have recently experienced an increased difficulty getting an appointment with your Primary Care Manager over the last couple of weeks. The 341st MDG is currently experiencing limited appointment access due to manning shortages, deployments and other additional taskings.

The 341st MDG continually strives to offer the best possible health care to all of our beneficiaries. As always, our main concern is your health care. We are very aware that access to your PCM is limited and we have been working on several initiatives to improve the situation. While these initiatives have made a difference, we are still not able to schedule our beneficiaries with their PCM 100 percent of the time. During this period of decreased appointments, you may be referred to a civilian provider in order to meet your health care needs. We also ask you to utilize your "Take Care of Yourself" book, available at any clinic window. This book will help you address some of your medical concerns by using self-care methods at home.

Lastly, we ask that you try your best to keep your scheduled appointments. If you must cancel an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance so it may be offered to another beneficiary.

Any further questions or concerns should be directed to Renae Hutchins at 731-4117 or Capt. Tara Lovell at 731-3805.
