MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. --  The following individuals received non-judicial punishment during the month of March.

A technical sergeant from the 10th Missile Squadron received a suspended reduction to the rank of staff sergeant, forfeiture of $1414 pay per month for two months, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand for physically controlling a vehicle while drunk.

An airman first class from the 341st Civil Engineer Squadron received a reduction to the rank of airman, suspended forfeiture of $150 pay per month for two months, restriction to the limits of Malmstrom Air Force Base for 30 days, and 30 days extra duty for dereliction of duty by failing to refrain from drinking alcohol while under the age of 21 and physically controlling a vehicle while drunk.

An airman from the 341st CES received a reduction to the rank of airman b asic, suspended forfeiture of $699 pay per month for two months, and 45 days extra duty with 20 days suspended for being disrespectful in language toward a superior non-commissioned officer and dereliction of duty by negligently failing to go at the time prescribed to an appointed place of duty.

An airman basic from the 341st CES received a forfeiture of $349.50 pay per month for two months and 20 days extra duty for going from an appointed place of duty without authority and failing to go at the time prescribed to an appointed place of duty.

An airman first class from the 341st Missile Maintenance Squadron received a reduction to the rank of airman basic, suspended forfeiture of $250 pay and restriction to the limits of Malmstrom AFB for 45 days with 15 days suspended for wrongful use of a controlled substance.

An airman basic from the 341st MMXS received a forfeiture of $250 pay and restriction to the limits of Malmstrom AFB se for 15 days for breaking restriction.

A senior airman from the 341st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction to the rank of airman first class for dereliction of duty by failing to refrain from sleeping while on duty.

A senior airman from the 341st Security Forces Squadron received a reduction to the rank of airman first class, suspended forfeiture of $325pay per month for two months and restriction to the limits of Malmstrom AFB for 60 days for dereliction in the performance of duties by negligently failing to obey the posted speed limit while operating a motor vehicle and physically controlling a vehicle while drunk.

A senior airman from the 341st SFS received a reduction to the rank of airman, forfeiture of $250 pay per month for two months and a reprimand for dereliction of duty by chambering a round in a weapon when it was not appropriate to do so, willfully and wrongfully damaging property of the United States, and disorderly conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces.

An airman first class from the 341st SFS received a reduction to the rank of airman and suspended forfeiture of $250 pay per month for two months for sleeping on post.

A senior airman from the 741st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction to the rank of airman first class, suspended reduction to the rank of airman, suspended forfeiture of $250 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for dereliction of duty by failing to obey the posted speed limit, negligently failing to obey a red stop signal and for physically controlling a vehicle while drunk.

An airman first class from the 741st MSFS received a reduction to the rank of airman, suspended reduction to the rank of airman basic, forfeiture of $500 pay with $450.00 suspended, restriction to the limits of Malmstrom AFB for 30 days with 23 days suspended, 30 days extra duty with 23 days suspended, and a reprimand for two specifications of failing to go at the time prescribed to an appointed place of duty, two specifications of dereliction of duty for failing to maintain automobile insurance, for willfully failing to answer the phone while on 6-ring standby and one specification for dishonorably failing to pay a debt.

An airman first class from the 741st MSFS received a reduction to the rank of airman, suspended forfeiture of $250 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty with 15 days suspended and a reprimand for physically controlling a vehicle while drunk.

NOTE: Punishments may vary from Airman to Airman. When deciding on an appropriate level of punishment, commanders take into consideration the member's oral and written presentation, the member's duty performance and past history of misconduct, the need for good order and discipline, and the nature and circumstances of the offenses.
