Combat Arms ranges are off-limits

The Combat Arms ranges, located on the southeast corner of the base, are off-limits to all personnel except those conducting official business or attending training. Trespassing ont eh range complex or the surface danger zone behind the range can be life threatening. For more information, call 731-6422 or 6423.

Native American Culture meeting scheduled
The multi-cultural committee will hold a Native American culture meeting April 27 at 3:30 p.m. in building 770, room 25. This meeting will be to begin planning the Native American portion of the multi-cultural celebration to be held in July. Anyone interested in assisting with making this event a success is encouraged to attend. For more information, call Master Sgt. Denise Jones at 731-3253.

Movie nights at Detour
Every Tuesday night at the Detour, come and watch new releases and have some popcorn. The fun starts at 7 p.m. and it's all free.

Motorcycle safety classes underway
Motorcycle safety classes are scheduled most weekends now through the end of September for active-duty military. Family members, retirees and appropriated fund civilian employees will be signed up on a stand-by basis only. There is a form letter that needs to be signed by an individual's commander and turned in to the safety office at the time of registration for the class. Airman's Night at the Commissary is May 3
The commissary will host a special night at the commissary to introduce the products and services offered to single Airman. In addition, there will be games, food and prize give-aways. The event is scheduled May 3 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Guitar Hero® X-Box® tournament on tap in May
All E-1 through E-6 Airmen are invited to participate in the Top 3 "Guitar Hero"® X-Box® tournament May 1, 8 and 29 from 6 to 10 p.m. each day at the Grizzly Bend Club (basement). The tournament is free to enter and cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place each day of play. There are also free non-alcoholic drinks and appetizers available. All X-Box® equipment will be provided and the tournament is a two-player, head-to-head challenge where the winner moves on to the next round. People interested in volunteering or to sign-up for the tournament can e-mail Staff Sgt. William McKowan or Tech. Sgt. Joseph Hansen. People can also sign-up the day of the event at the club.
