341st MW JA releases military justice report Published Aug. 27, 2009 Submitted by the 341st Staff Judge Advocate's Office staff MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. -- The following individuals received non-judicial punishment during July. An airman first class from the 341st Security Forces Squadron received a reduction to airman and a reprimand for dereliction of duty by bringing a personal cell phone into a secured area. An airman first class from the 341st Missile Maintenance Squadron received a reduction to airman basic, with reduction below airman suspended, restriction to base for 45 days and 20 days extra duty for failing to go at his time prescribed to the appointed place of duty and making a false official statement. An airman first class from the 341stMMXS received a suspended reduction to airman, restriction to base for 30 days and a reprimand for dereliction of duty by failing to perform all required workouts while in the Personal Fitness Program. An airman first class from the 341st SFS received a forfeiture of $500, restriction to base for 15 days and a reprimand for dereliction of duty by failing to stay alert and coherent while posted. An airman first class from the 341st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a suspended reduction to airman, forfeiture of $195 pay per month and a suspended reprimand for dereliction of duty by failing to serve as a spotter while a wingman backed up a government vehicle. NOTE: Punishments may vary from Airman to Airman. When deciding on an appropriate level of punishment, commanders take into consideration the member's oral and written presentation, the member's duty performance and past history of misconduct, the need for good order and discipline, and the nature and circumstances of the offenses.
