Honey bees are beneficial insects that pollinate flowers.

There is a worldwide shortage of honeybees and everyone's help is needed to ensure numbers increase.

The 341st Civil Engineer Squadron pest management and local beekeepers safely remove honeybees from base at no charge to the U.S. Government.

This a win-win situation because the honeybees are not harmed and are relocated to produce honey. This also helps protect the environment because no chemicals are used to kill the bees.

CE pest management asks the Malmstrom community not to use any chemical insect killer or disturb honeybees in any fashion.

For removal of all bee swarms on base, please call CE Customer Service at 731-6137.
