Annual Ski Expo set for Oct. 29

MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. -- Are you interested in finding out what there is to do outside the gates of Malmstrom this winter?

The Grizzly Bend Club and Outdoor Recreation will host their Annual Ski Expo and Dessert and Wine Fair Oct. 29 at the Grizzly Bend Club from 5 to 7 p.m.

Cost is $5 for non-members, free for members and children under age 18.

"The Ski Expo is a great opportunity to get out and see what is available and get the energy flowing for the upcoming sports season," said Jim Beisel, Outdoor Recreation adventure programmer.

Statewide representatives will be available to offer information about resorts, lodging, sports and trails, and to provide answers and advice about their activities and facilities.

For people planning a party or get together during the holidays, the dessert and wine section of the fair will have an assortment of cakes, meats and beverages to sample from vendors who will be present to help accommodate for any social gathering.

There will also be opportunities to win winter package giveaways and other prizes.
