Team Malmstrom raised $111,036.14 toward this year's Combined Federal Campaign. The theme this year was, "I Can Now More Than Ever."

The campaign began Sept. 8 with the base contribution goal set at $95,500.

Each squadron had a key worker that provided members with information and collected donations via cash, check or payroll deduction.

"I couldn't be prouder and am grateful for the outpouring from the women and men from Malmstrom," said Col. Michael Fortney, 341st Missile Wing commander. "The base's response to this worthy cause was typical of the spirit our people demonstrate daily."

"I'm really excited about all the charities we're going to be helping out," said 1st Lt. Tamara Wyatt, this year's CFC wing project officer. "The base completely exceeded our goal and went above and beyond expectation, and that means that there are that many more people and causes that we were able to contribute to."

CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign. Its mission is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

More than 300 CFC campaigns are held nationally and internationally to raise money for organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world according to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management's CFC Web site.
