CCAF graduation information outlined
All transcripts must be received today for the Community College of the Air Force to be considered for degree completion and be a candidate for spring graduation. The graduation ceremony will take place April 21 at 1 p.m. in the base auditorium. Graduates will receive a detailed letter and e-mail with information regarding the ceremony. Spouse's Club accepting donations, scholarship applications
The Malmstrom Spouse's Club is currently accepting requests for donations. Please send your requests to: MSC Welfare Officer, P.O. Box 6516, Malmstrom AFB, MT 59405.
Requests must be received no later than Feb. 28 to be considered. Disbursements will be sent out in the spring. The MSC is also now accepting scholarship applications for fiscal year 2010. High school seniors can pick up an application from their guidance counselor, and military spouses can pick one up from the Education Center on base or the financial aid office of the college they attend. Applicants must be a dependent child or dependent spouse of an active duty, retired, or deceased active or retired member to qualify. Applications need to be turned in by March 31. Refuse container removal
Effective March 1, the three 30 yard refuse containers located in the base recycling area will be removed. The continued abuse of this service has precipitated this action, even with proper warning signage, illegal dumping continues with an adverse impact on the cost of disposal. Housing residents need to be aware that the refuse contractor will remove any items placed curbside such as furniture, appliances (with the exception of items containing refrigerant or hazardous material), toys, sporting goods, etc. For more information, call the solid waste program manager at 731-6448.

Volunteers Needed
Boy Scouts of America are asking for volunteers to help with the Annual Scouting Food Drive on March 13 and March 20. Volunteers will be assisting with bag distribution and donation pick-up for the Great Falls Food Bank. Registration for Park University begins
Registration for the spring session at Park University will run through March 15. There are several tuition assistance, VA benefits, federal financial aid and scholarship opportunities available for those interested in taking classes. Park University also offers flexible schedules, online learning, evening classes, and are open to designing new educational formats to assist in pursuing a degree. AF Hoops hits the Air Force
Game pieces are available at the Grizzly Bend Club and Aces High Bowling Center to register to win up to $10,000 in the Air Force's National Collegiate Athletic Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship online bracket tournament promotion. The AF Hoops promotion is giving Air Force sports fans the chance to win big prizes by selecting teams in the NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship Tournament. Free assistance with tax returns
The 341 Missile Wing tax center is open to provide free assistance with tax returns for all active-duty members, guardsman, reservists, retirees and their family members.
