Air Force Ball tickets now available Published Sept. 10, 2010 By Airman 1st Class Kristina Overton 341st Missile Wing Public Affairs Office MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. -- The 2010 Wing One Air Force Anniversary Ball is Oct. 2 at the Best Western Heritage Inn. Cocktails start at 6 p.m. and dinner begins at 7 p.m. The evening will include a performance by the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band "Night Wing." "Our Wing One Air Force Anniversary Ball honors our Airmen past, present and future," said Lt. Col. Lloyd Buzzell, 341st Operations Support Squadron commander. "That is Airmen with a capital 'A' to include civilians, our enlisted force and officers. We commemorate our Air Force and Wing One heritage by hosting this great event in downtown Great Falls with our community partners who continue to support us." This year's theme will be "A Night to Remember: Honoring Air Force Airmen Past, Present and Future...A Red Carpet Event." The dress code for the event includes mess dress or semi-formal uniform for military members and formal attire for civilians. "The ball also allows us to honor the history of Wing One both as the first Minuteman wing and as a leader in our nuclear forces," Colonel Buzzell said. "Wing One continues to set a standard of perfection and tradition of excellence. The dinner promises to be fun and gives us all time to reflect on where we have been and where we are going." Tickets for the ball can be purchased through squadron points of contact. Ticket costs are $24 for officers, senior non-commissioned officers and civilians.
