Cold-weather gear wear outlined by commander Published Oct. 1, 2010 MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, Mont. -- Col. Anthony Cotton, 341st Missile Wing commander, signed a letter Sept. 10 granting permission to wear cold-weather gear within the prescribed guidelines outlined below, for Air Force Global Strike Command Airmen assigned here and performing duties with in the missile complex and on the installation through May 11, 2011. Supervisors will ensure this guidance is not abused. Cari Kent, 341st MW command chief, wants everyone to know the fleece or knit stocking cap can only be worn with an appropriate outer garment, not with just the uniform alone.
