Protestant woman's Bible study has started
The base chapel is holding a Protestant woman's Bible study every Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. It will feature "Lies Women Believe and the Truth That Sets Them Free" by Nancy Leah De Moss. For more information, call Terri VanderKaay at 403-7122.

Chapel offers family programs
A children's program will be offered today from 5 - 9 p.m. during the Base Theater's free showing of "Fireproof." A moms and tots playgroup will be offered the tomorrow, Feb. 12, from 9 - 10 a.m. Also, on Feb. 18, there will be a family game night from 7 - 9 p.m. where bringing snacks to share is encouraged. Snowmobile weekend coming up at Yellowstone
Outdoor Recreation is hosting a snowmobiling trip to Yellowstone Feb. 12-14. Single or double snowmobiles are available for reservation. For more information, or to sign up, contact Outdoor Rec. at 731-3263.

Sweetheart bowling tournament at Aces High
Aces High Bowling Center is having a sweetheart 9-pin no tap tournament Saturday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. Players will have a chance to win prizes like a one night's stay for two at the 320 Guest Ranch that includes a sleigh ride and dinner for two in the dining room; a genuine garnet pendant with matching genuine diamond and garnet earrings; or a gift certificate for a one night's stay for two at the Holiday Inn in Great Falls. Winter excursion at Old Faithful Feb. 19
A winter excursion trip to Old Faithful will be held Feb. 19-22 for anyone interested. The trip offers a snow coach tour, snow shoeing, hiking, or cross-country skiing and lodging is also available. For more details, visit 341FSS.com/trips.

New provider orientation class to start Feb. 22
Military spouses who live on or off base who are interested in becoming licensed family child care providers need to attend an orientation training class provided. The next one is scheduled Feb. 22-25. For more information, call 731-2116.

Commissary holiday hours announced
With respect to the President's Day holiday observation, the Commissary will be open regular hours during the holiday weekend, and closed Monday, Feb. 21 and Tuesday, Feb. 22.

DANTES funding not available starting October 1
Effective Oct. 1, DANTES funding will no longer be available to pay exam fees for Excelsior College Examinations (ECEs). Only first attempts at ECEs administered on or before Sept. 30 will be eligible for processing with DANTES funding.

Troy University registration starting Feb. 14
Registration for Troy University starts on 14 February and runs through March 4 for new students - March 11 for current students. Troy University offers online associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees that conveniently fit with a hectic schedule. Children's dental health presentations offered
To observe February as children's dental health month, Malmstrom's 341st Dental Flight is offering presentations to help promote children's dental health. The following are the three presentations being offered:

CCAF cutoff date is Feb. 25
To be considered for graduation in the April class, CCAF must receive all documentation (i.e. transcripts, CLEP scores, etc.) for degree candidate submissions on or before Feb. 25. Students must also be enrolled in the degree program by Feb. 25. Nominations for students in which all documents are received by the cutoff date may be initiated through March 4 for active-duty members. The nomination cutoff for the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve members will be March 6. For more information, contact Wanda Hale at 731-3531.

Loy Elementary holding Rummage Sale
There will be an indoor Rummage and Bake sale at Loy Elementary School on March 5 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be 8x8 spaces, which includes a table, available to rent for the sale. Anyone interested should stop by Loy Elementary during normal school hours - 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. - to reserve their spot. Spaces will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Zumbathon benefit tomorrow
April Barber, a Zumba instructor, is hosting a Zumbathon to benefit the American Heart Association on Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In conjunction with the Zumbathon, the Community Recreation Center Fitness Center will be hosting a free open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to introduce people to the fitness center. Spouses' Club Welfare Committee accepting donation requests
The Malmstrom Spouses' Club Welfare Committee is currently accepting donation requests for the upcoming year. To be considered, please submit a letter describing your organization. Include the amount of funding being requested and an explanation of how your organization plans to use the funds if awarded. All requests from Malmstrom and the local community will be considered. Thrift store needs 'new' stuff
The Thrift Store is looking for more merchandise to restock shelves. Bring unwanted items to building 581, just off Goddard Drive, Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the first Saturday of every month.

February social being held Feb. 17
The Malmstrom Spouses' Club invites all members and those interested in membership to their February social. We will be making homemade cards on Thursday, February 17th at 6:30 p.m. Food, supplies and fun will be provided. Call Naomi Sharkey at 602-770-4155 for more information.

Former NFL receiver speaking at Chapel
Chris Horn, former NFL wide receiver, is speaking at the Base Chapel March 4, 9:30 a.m. His presentation "Dare to be Different" is geared towards young adults, but anyone is welcome to attend. Attendees can enter a drawing for a chance to get to work out with Chris the next day at the base fitness center!
