Thrift Store summer hours announced
Through the months of June, July and August the Thrift Store will only be open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Consignment and donations are still needed and welcomed. Unwanted items should be taken to building 581 - off Goddard Drive.

Mosquito spraying slated
Malmstrom will begin spraying for mosquitoes two to three times a week starting next week. Spraying will be done between the hours of 10 p.m. and midnight depending on the weather. People are strongly cautioned to stay away from areas being sprayed to avoid inhaling the chemicals. For more information, contact Staff Sgt. Ric Hernandez at 731-7640/7057.

Project Homefront nominations being accepted
On the first Sunday of every month, NewsChannel 5 tells the stories of military families and the challenges they face on the Homefront. To find out more about how you can nominate your family or an individual for their contribution to the nation's defense, log onto kfbb.com, and click on the "Project Homefront" link. Persons or families nominated will be interviewed by a reporter and their story will be aired on KFBB. The family or individual featured in the news story will be presented with a package of gifts from local businesses.

Volunteers needed for Charity Bike Ride
Cruise 4 Kids, a non-profit organization, is holding their annual Charity Bike Ride June 11. Volunteers are needed to help direct bikes through intersections and help at aide stations. For more information, contact Michelle Peterson at (406)-868-6481.

Top 3 offering scholarships
The Big Sky Top 3 is awarding two college scholarships this quarter - one to an Airman and one to an NCO. Applicants are to submit a two page essay (double spaced, original work) relating to the United States Air Force's nuclear mission by June 30. Entries should be sent to Master Sgt. Song of Solomon Relationship series held every Thursday
A relationship series about God's best for love, marriage, sex and romance is being conducted on Thursdays at 8 p.m. This series will run through June 16 and is being held at the Detour (across from the Lemon Lot). For more information, contact Chaplain (Capt.) Steven Survance at 731-3721.

Military Appreciation day scheduled
The C.M. Russell Museum is holding a Military Appreciation Day June 18 from 2 - 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend the event and enjoy free food and beverages along with live music for a patriotic celebration. Belt parade slated July 2
There will be a Belt Valley Summer Celebration July 2 from 4 to 11 p.m. at Castner Park in Belt, Mt. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the parade starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Belt Brewery and other festivities offered. For more information, contact John Mital at 277-3564.

Volunteers needed for annual July 4 celebration
